Back pain, and more commonly low back pain, has to be the oldest, if not certainly one of the oldest, occupational health hazards known. And is probably the commonest cause of work related complaints. Figures show that around 15 million people go to their doctor in any one year due to lower back pain, and billions are spent trying to alleviate the problem.No wonder the back pain relief industry is growing by leaps and bounds. People with manual jobs, requiring heavy… Now I’m personally a believer in accupuncture, having used it several times for my back pain and also catarrh. Never mind all the controversy, all I know is that it works for me. However it now appears that there is a scientific basis for the efficacy of the treatment.
